School in Azraq for Refugees

In collaboration with Emergency Architecture and Human Right (EAHR), a workshop on earth building techniques was made with Syrian refugees and Jordanian workers at the village of Azraq in the south of Jordan.

The workshop was given as part of  EAHR program of building schools for Syrian refugees in Jordan. The two-weeks training program incorporated materials development of tiles from stabilised earth and lime mortar, and construction technique such as thin-tile vaulting which was used to build ceilings of the schools' classrooms.
